Craig McLaughlin
President and CEO

Craig founded Extractable in 1999 and currently serves as President and CEO. In his role, Craig is responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth and management of the company. Before Extractable, Craig worked in various technical positions at USWeb/CKS and Sony. Craig received his BS in Information Systems from San Diego State University and holds a Masters of Science in Information Systems.

Mark Ryan
Vice President, Analytics and Insight

Mark founded Extractable in 1999 and over that time period, has supervised and taken part in the launch of over 200 web initiatives for companies such as IHS, DIRECTV, TRUSTe, RedPrairie, Charles Schwab, FedEx, and Visa. In his current role, Mark leads the Analytics and Insight group and helps clients make better user experience design decisions based on quantitative data. Adamant about measuring the success of web initiatives Mark co-chairs the Education committee of the Web Analytics Association and speaks regularly at web marketing conferences. Prior to Extractable, Mark served in client-facing engineering roles at USWeb/CKS. Mark holds a BS in Computer Information Systems.

Simon Mathews
Chief Strategy Officer

Simon is digital strategist with broad global insight encompassing business strategy, digital engagement, user experience definition, social strategy and search. Simon's role is to work with clients to create their digital strategy including defining the role of digital channels in the business, the experience and functionality users need as well as the organizational structure and implementation roadmap needed to address the strategy. Simon has 20 years of consultancy experience spanning communications, advertising, and digital agencies and has worked on digital strategy for clients including: AIA, AIG, Alico, Autodesk, Emirates Airlines, Juniper, LVMH, McAfee, Reebok, Seagate, Southwest Airlines, TD Bank, Ubisoft, ZoneLabs, and WL Gore.

Scott Briskman
Chief Creative Officer

Scott is an award winning creative director with over ten years experience inventing, pitching and delivering successful marketing programs both online and offline for brands like Apple, Nike, eBay, British Airways, Ask.com, E*TRADE, MasterCard, A&E Television Networks, De Beers, L'Oréal, Maybelline, IKEA, JP Morgan and others. Scott brings a proven track record of building vibrant agencies both in the US and internationally. He is passionate about solving marketing problems for clients, nurturing successful creative agencies and making beautiful, compelling campaigns.

Joel Oxman
Vice President, Business Development

Joel is principally focused on developing relationships with prospective clients. He brings over thirteen years of agency experience, having previously worked for USWeb/CKS and Scient in business development, research, and account management capacities. Since joining Extractable, Joel has been instrumental in developing new relationships with Safeway, Charles Schwab, CEMEX, The Judicial Council of California, Netgear, IHS, Kodak, HTC America, FedEx, Riverbed, Sun Microsystems, NPD Group, and JDS Uniphase. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UCLA, and enjoys aviation, classic cars, baseball, and Lake Tahoe in the Summer.

Ernie Chan
Client Director

Ernie is responsible for the strategic relationship and successful delivery of engagements between Extractable and its clients. Ernie has over 12 years of client service and project management experience, leading complex user experience, digital strategy, technology, and marketing engagements for clients including Coke, Sprite, SanDisk, Ubisoft, Webroot, McAfee, Blackrock, Autodesk, Franklin Templeton Investments, TCW, and the Walt Disney Company. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley. Being an exhausted father of two boys leaves him little spare time to enjoy wine, frequent flier miles, and fantasy football.

Jesper Helweg
Vice President, Operations

Jesper has broad experience in Project Management and Client Relations with a focus on enterprise web and systems development projects. At Extractable, Jesper is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and managing Extractable's project teams. Since joining Extractable in 2006, he has managed successful relationships with clients including Sun Microsystems, The Judicial Council of California, and Reliant Technologies. Prior to Extractable, Jesper worked for Premier Retail Networks as Director of Project Management, eLine as Director of Project Management, and Intuit as an Operations and Product Engineer.

Jon Chiappa
Director, Project Management

Jon brings over 10 years of program and project management experience to Extractable and their clients. His past Fortune 100 corporate website redesign projects include BestBuy, Caterpillar, Motorola, and Walmart. Additional web development experience includes financial industry projects for Janus Mutual Funds, Thomas Weisel, and Scudder Kemper; pharmaceutical industry projects for Eli Lilly and Amgen; and consumer e-commerce projects for Adobe, Autonation, and Four Seasons. Jon's additional experience includes global user testing, geographically dispersed design and development teams, and global website rollouts.
