In recent years, Alex managed strategic planning for the office of the CIO at Zions Bancorporation. Alex was instrumental in developing Zions’ digital transformation and payments strategy.
Alex also led digital transformation at Rockland Trust, a community bank in Massachusetts, where he managed the implementation of digital banking, a digital branch, digital customer service, social media, payments strategy, and the rebuilding of their website and all digital assets.
Throughout his career, Alex held various positions in operations, process and project management, strategy development, marketing and customer experience at institutions such as Rockland Trust, Bank of America, Fleet Bank, and CIGNA.
Alex has been recognized as a top social media influencer in Fintech, digital innovation, Regtech, wealth management, Blockchain, and digital marketing by various organizations. He was the chair of the Consumer Bankers Association’s Digital Channel Committee and a member of the American Banking Association’s Fintech Committee. Alex’s thought leadership content is frequently published by The Financial Brand, Finovate, CFO Outlook, CIO Insights, and the Irish Tech news. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, The Financial Brand, the American Banker and the Boston Business Journal.
